Wilson Consulting Company is an independent NDT and welding inspection firm focused on utility infrastructure. From transmission and distribution poles to lattice towers and substation structures, we bring expertise in fabrication, repair, and the codes and standards that govern this work.
The firm is owner-operated by an AWS Certified Welding Inspector and ASNT NDT Level III with 15 years of field experience and prior service in the U.S. Air Force. Every engagement, whether NDT inspection, fabrication oversight, quality audits, or NDT training, is performed directly by an experienced certified inspector, never handed off to a junior technician.

Welding Inspection
Comprehensive pre-weld fit-up, in-process, and post-weld inspections performed by an AWS Certified Welding Inspector with 15 years of fabrication shop and field experience. All findings are clearly documented, and any nonconformance is reported in writing with reference to the applicable code, standard, or customer specification.
- Welding procedure verification in accordance with the WPS/PQR

Fabrication and Repair Oversight
On-site oversight of fabrication and repair work on behalf of utilities and owners, verifying that tubular poles, lattice towers, and substation steel are built and repaired to project specifications and applicable codes.
- A combination of welding inspection and NDT to verify the customer's product complies with applicable codes, standards, customer specifications, and drawings

Quality Audits
Independent facility and procedure audits that evaluate a fabricator's entire quality system, welding and NDT procedures, personnel qualifications, material compliance, and records against code and customer requirements.

NDT Training
Classroom training for inspection personnel that meets or exceeds the recommendations of ASNT SNT-TC-1A, with on-the-job training records and Level III oversight to support technician qualification and certification programs.
